1-1 Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to recruit a friendly, energetic 1-1 Teaching Assistant to attend to the educational, personal and social needs of pupils and any other requirements depending on the pupil’s special needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their educational, personal and social needs.
• Assist with toileting, hygiene, dressing and feeding where necessary.
• Help create a positive learning experience for all students.

This role is for 36 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days) for a period of maternity cover.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Suitable for employment in a school environment – subject to suitability checks in accordance with KCSIE, including identity, Right to Work, qualifications, online searches, prohibition check, two references and an enhanced DBS check including the Children’s Barred List.
