1 to 1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a Reception-aged student with strong behavioural needs in a Primary School in Wandsworth.

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary school in Wandsworth
Start Date: 21/04/2025
Contract Type: 4 days a week until the end of the academic year
Salary: £90-£110 a day

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a Reception-aged student with strong behavioural needs, both in the classroom and during other school activities.
*

Help the student manage and express emotions appropriately, using strategies to promote positive behaviour.
*

Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development in line with individual education plans (IEPs).
*

Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child is included and supported throughout the day.
