First Class Aluminum Welder
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled First Class Aluminum Welder with extensive marine experience to perform structural and fabrication welding on aluminum vessels and components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced welding proficiency, blueprint comprehension, and the ability to produce high-quality welds that meet shipyard, ABS, and military specifications.
Location: LOCKPORT, LA
Pay rate: $28-$30/HR
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of aluminum welding experience in a marine or shipyard environment
Must qualify and maintain First Class aluminum welding certifications per company and client standards
Proficient in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes on aluminum
