Key Responsibilities

Review designs and specifications to provide technical guidance and ensure that mine structures are constructed in accordance with design requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for field geotechnical concerns, ensuring issues are promptly investigated and appropriate recommendations are provided to maximize operational flexibility.

Conduct inspections and sign-offs to ensure the quality of critical construction activities meets required standards.

Provide technical guidance and support to shovel planners regarding pit wall stability, ensuring pit walls are constructed in accordance with design.

Prepare Specification Deviation Reports and Technical Decision Reports as required.

Perform instrumentation and construction reviews of mine structures at defined intervals.

Manage and maintain the geotechnical instrumentation inventory.
