Coordinate with a variety of entities on transportation planning activities and programs. Conduct technical analyses to support the program. Coordinate with staff and local and regional planning entities on planning activities. Support urban and rural planning functions. Coordinate and implement long range plans in TIPs, STIPs and project development process. Conduct technical analysis using tools such as capacity and geospatial software that locates and identifies deficiencies allowing for the development of recommended improvements to ensure future needs are met throughout district localities. Support on‐going communication and coordination for planning activities with local governments. Conduct planning analysis using the Statewide Planning System (SPS) to fully integrate SPS with planning efforts such as corridor studies, long range plans, traffic requests and prioritization efforts.
