Overview

The Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen seeks a fixed‑term Associate Professor to investigate metabolic shifts during local tissue repair using Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. The research will link cellular responses to systemic adaptive processes and behaviours, providing insights into how organisms cope with physiological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research on metabolic adaptations during tissue regeneration.
• Develop the field and supervise research fellows and other staff.
• Prepare and deliver courses in genetics and physiology at undergraduate and graduate level.
