2nd Class Marine Electrician - Interior Communications (apx 50% Travel)

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is looking a 2nd Class Marine Electrician to work in Suffolk, Virginia.

**50% travel required within and outside of the continental United States.**

**Work Schedule: Monday thru Saturday 10 hours a day (as needed).**

**Responsibilities**

+ Marine Electricians install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including interior communications.
+ As a Marine Electrician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing electrical systems on marine vessels.
+ Must have knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment on board vessels and in shipyard facilities.
+ Marine Electrician applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
