2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Work from process operation documents to setup, adjust and operate CNC Lathes such as Mori Seiki SL403 and Mori Seiki NLX2500.

· Perform and document in-process inspections during production by using a variety of gages and other precision measuring instruments.

· Read G and M code along with blueprints to verify process accuracy when needed.

· Work with Manufacturing Engineers and/or CNC Programmers to prove out new processes, tooling, and fixtures; provide input to optimize machining processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience: One to three years minimum.

· Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis; may lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
