2nd Shift EVS Tech (Plainfeild)

Job Description
Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, including patient rooms, hallways, and common spaces
Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Remove trash and dispose of waste
Safely remove and replace sharps containers and ensure proper disposal of medical waste
Manage shredding processes, including collecting, disposing, and replenishing shredding bins
Clean and disinfect biological materials (e.g., bile, blood, and other biohazards) using approved protocols
Maintain strict sanitization standards to prevent infection spread and ensure regulatory compliance
