Description

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for complex aerospace components using 5-axis machining in Mastercam • Create and refine advanced multi-axis tool paths for intricate geometries and hard-to-machine materials commonly used in aerospace • Program and support CNC lathes with live tooling for mill-turn aerospace applications • Assist in set up, prove out, and validate programs on Makino machining centers and CNC lathes • Perform simulation and verification using Vericut to ensure collision-free, efficient, and compliant machining processes • Interpret aerospace technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T with a high level of accuracy • Select tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters optimized for aerospace materials and tolerances • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to meet strict aerospace quality and repeatability standards • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements • Mai...
