5.5 HR FOOD SERVICE HELPER - Districtwide

Bethlehem Central School District is currently seeking applications for a probationary 10 month, 5.5 hour per day Food Service Helper, effective September 1, 2026. Vacancy is a floater position and may travel to various buildings. Schedule is 5.5 hours per day from 8:30am- 2:00pm when school is in session.




+ Responsible for overall kitchen operation and ordering some food

+ Meet USDA meal program regulations

+ Receiving and inventory tasks

+ Works on the tray lines serving designated portions per menus;

+ Fills food carts and delivers foods to designated areas;

+ Assists in the preparation of salads and desserts;

+ Washes dishes, pots and pans by hand or machine;

+ Sweeps, mops and cleans kitchen;

+ May act as cashier
