Academic Skills Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and confident Academic Skills Manager to lead our new Academic Skills Team, which provides academic and digital skills support to students at Leeds Beckett University. The Team supports the development of a wide range of academic, information and digital skills and helps students learn independently, become critical thinkers, develop IT and workplace skills, manage transitions, write assignments, find and use information and data, use AI appropriately and much more.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide leadership for all aspects of the service, including in‑curriculum teaching and elective opportunities, as well as direct line management for 12 staff members.
