Overview
The Account Director will work in the HWS Spain & Portugal team and be responsible for driving transient and group business into Hilton’s portfolio of hotels. The account director will manage several corporate and sports accounts to penetrate these segments, generate client requests and RFPs, support group business conversion, and organize client engagement activities to drive loyalty and product knowledge (including Business Review meetings, familiarization trips, Lunch and Learn, social events). The role also involves participating in relevant tradeshows representing Hilton. The Account Director is accountable for the performance of their key and strategic accounts and must proactively manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, including VPs, GMs, CDs, Hotel Managers, Peers & Account Teams. The role also requires business development skills with a strong focus on developing new partnerships.
