Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for managing financial records with a focus on GST, TDS, Tally bookkeeping, purchase and sales records, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate statutory compliance, timely tax filings, and maintain clear, auditable accounting records to support business operations and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and reconcile day-to-day purchase and sales records in Tally.
• Process and verify vendor invoices, payments, and purchase ledgers; manage accounts payable workflows.
• Record customer receipts, prepare sales ledgers, and manage accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and books.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensure correct GST treatment on transactions, and reconcile GST ledgers.
