Position Details

POSITION:

ACCOUNTANT

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred

– Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in accounting or school / government audits.

– MSBO Certificate Preferred

JOB FUNCTIONS:

– Assists in preparing and maintaining financial statements, journal entries and reports

– Assists in coordinating and preparation of the annual independent audit of financial operations, procedures and policies

– Assist Business Manager in preparation of budget related to expenditures, as requested

– Assists to process regular and special accounts payable weekly and/or bi-weekly runs, as necessary

– Assists to process Purchase Orders, as necessary

– Assists to process 1099’s annual for calendar year-end reporting

– Assists in managing vendor and employee inquiries...
