JOB BRIEF

• The Accountant, Financial Reporting is responsible for the execution of assigned accounting areas during month-end close and reporting. The role ensures that journal entries, reconciliations, payroll-related entries, tax compliance requirements, and reporting schedules are prepared accurately and within established timelines, under the direction of the Supervisor and Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate journal entries for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, with complete supporting documentation.
• Ensure completion of assigned close tasks within the approved close calendar
• Review transactions for proper cut-off and completeness
• Escalate issues affecting balances or timelines to the Supervisor
