As part of a close-knit accounting team, you will report to the Controller and manage core financial tasks across various companies. This includes maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, preparing payroll, and ensuring tax compliance, all while championing improvements in efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post all necessary journal entries
• Execute monthly reconciliations for accuracy
• Facilitate payroll processes in partnership with HR
• File necessary GST/HST and PST returns timely
• Aid in month-end and year-end closing initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or relevant diploma
