Robert Half is partnering with a downtown Milwaukee client in the recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join our team and provide hands-on support to the Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of transactional accounting tasks and general ledger (GL) work. Experience in the real estate or construction industry is highly desirable, though not required.
This is permanent placement opportunity offering full health insurance benefits package, 3+ weeks vacation, 401k matching and paid parking.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
+ Assist with posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
+ Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
+ Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely, accurate manner.
