Accounting Technician/Tax preparer

Responsibilities

Prepare simple personal and corporate tax returns for a variety of clients.

Review simple tax returns prepared by junior staff.

Assist with bookkeeping, as required.

Communicate with CRA and the client to resolve tax inquiries.

Occasionally visit client site, near by.

Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates on an ongoing basis.

Build relationships directly with clients to understand tax history and provide the most value for ongoing tax compliance needs.
