Opportunity Description
Job Summary:
An Accounts Executive is responsible for performing timely and accurate bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving unreconciled items, maintaining supporting schedules, maintaining financial records and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of cash-related accounting records. The role supports financial control, month-end close, and audit readiness while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts.
- Investigate and clear reconciling items such as outstanding checks, deposits in transit, bank charges, interest, and unidentified transactions.
- Review bank statements and compare them with ledger balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to bank reconciliation adjustments.
