Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume payables operations for a transport organization in Metairie, Louisiana. This position plays a key role in keeping vendor payments accurate, timely, and fully documented while supporting month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from receiving invoices through final payment processing and record retention.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy, align them with purchase orders, assign the correct general ledger coding, and route items for approval.
