Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in New Orleans, Louisiana in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position is well suited for someone who brings hands-on invoice processing experience, strong attention to detail, and confidence working with payment operations in a fast-paced accounting environment. The role will support daily payables activities while helping maintain accurate records, timely disbursements, and organized financial documentation.

Responsibilities:
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately while confirming supporting documentation is complete.
• Process payments through ACH transactions and check runs in accordance with established schedules and controls.
