Accounts Payable Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payment Query Management Team Leader to join our Finance team in Johannesburg North. This role is responsible for overseeing payment processes, managing queries, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and leading the Payment Queries (i.e., Accounts Payable) team to deliver accurate and timely results.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Manage invoice processing and VIM approvals (Level 1 and ad hoc Level 2)
Resolve invoice and payment related queries across multiple company codes
Review and monitor VIM approval and reporting metrics
Perform age analysis, reconciliations, and clearing activities
Review and approve accruals in line with month-end requirements
Oversee payment schedules, including foreign payments, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Manage Payment Queries (Accounts Payable) mailboxes and respond to stakeholder queries
