Overview
To verify, process, correct and collect billings of assigned accounts for hospital services.
Responsibilities
- To verify, process and correct charges for services provided by the hospital to patients and other customers.
- To send and submit billings for charges to patients, other hospital customers and various guarantors including OHIP, WSIB, insurance companies, other provinces, federal agencies, other countries, etc.
- To collect delinquent and unpaid accounts in a timely manner.
- To answer inquiries from patients, guarantors and others regarding any charges for hospital services.
- To assist with daily balancing of cash receipts and bank deposits.
- To assist with other tasks within the Business Office as required.

- Minimum college diploma in accounting or equivalent.
