About The Role

As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy a motivational and fulfilling environment. We want each individual to pursue the interests they most enjoy, and your work will have a real impact on their lives. The role involves helping to deliver an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events. In short, you help every resident live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with family, friends and the local community.
