Role Overview

Actuarial Senior Specialist for Local Valuation and Capital Management – responsible for statutory reporting, analysis of PFRS performance, capital management, regulatory submissions, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

1. Perform the calculation of the appropriate reserves and capital in accordance with the relevant accounting/regulatory standards (e.g., local statutory, PFRS) and applicable FWD policies (e.g., Capital Management Policy). 20%
2. Perform reserve and capital movement analysis and sources-of-earnings, and clearly explain results and drivers to both technical and non-technical audiences. 20%
3. Provide support in the Business Plan exercise with respect to earnings and capital management (e.g., Projection of Capital requirements, capital status, and actions needed), including developing the capital strategy and limits based on the company’s Risk Appetite Framework and Capital Management Polic...
