Opportunity Description
Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider is an advanced practice registered nurse or physician’s assistant with education, training, certification and licensure to provide for complex acute, chronic and critically ill/injured children. This individual will deliver the care for patients who are technologically dependent, highly vulnerable for complications, requiring frequent or complex monitoring and/or ongoing inpatient management with acute, critical and/or chronic illnesses. The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and scholarship. This individual works in collaboration with the collaborating physician, Lead APP, Division Medical Director, staff physicians, the Director of APPs, staff nurses and other team members.
