Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Physiatry, Full-time, Days

Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work in our Physiatry department. The APN will work closely alongside the physician, sharing responsibility for inpatient care on designated unit. This role includes daily rounding, coordinating and processing inpatient admissions and discharges, and actively participating in multidisciplinary therapy team meetings twice weekly. Communicates to patients and families, including coordination of care. This position is mainly inpatient.
