Acute Medicine Consultant

Working Full time: 10 Sessions per week We are looking for applicants to join an expanding team of Acute Medicine Consultants who are interested in progressing our journey of service development and innovative working within Acute Medicine. Acute Medicine works closely with the Emergency Medicine Team and all Medical Specialities, and you will be involved in the development of clinical processes to improve patient outcomes and experience. The successful applicant, along with the other Acute Medicine Consultants, will be responsible for the care of patients on our Acute Medicine Unit and Acute Medicine Assessment Centre (Assessment and SDEC/Ambulatory care). You will be supported by a full multi‑disciplinary team, which includes a Junior Medical Team and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. The Trust has a strong Medical Education department, and the post holder would have a significant educational role, particularly in educational supervision of our IMT doctors and students.
