Waikato Hospital – Fixed Term, Part‑time Physiotherapist (Acute)

Fixed‑term, part‑time position, 0.5FTE (40hours per fortnight) available from11May2026 for 12months covering parental leave. Rostering will be negotiated to accommodate one or two days per week of surgery.

About the Role

As part of Waikato Hospital’s acute team, you will assess patients, design focused treatment programmes to accelerate recovery, and recommend suitable discharge plans to help patients progress along their care continuum. You will handle respiratory, geriatric, and early‑mobility assessments and all aspects of physiotherapy practice in an academic tertiary hospital setting.
