Ad-hoc Sound Technician

Reporting to:   Head of Sound

Purpose:       Responsible for installing sound equipment for productions, events and functions.  Oversees technical areas relating to sound.  Controls sound levels, sound reinforcement, sound effect, music and dialogue levels during productions.

Main Duties:

• Rigs sound equipment for productions, events and functions


• Conducts sound checks before productions


• Checks that the equipment is working in accordance with the designers plan


• Balances sound at sound balancing rehearsals


• Conduct pre-production recordings


• Ensures compliance to all fire, safety and security regulations
