LAW-614 Accounting for Lawyers


USC Gould School of Law is seeking a lecturer to teach Accounting for Lawyers . This three-unit course covers basic accounting and organizational issues, basic financial statements, and concepts such as cash vs. accrual methods of accounting and financial analysis, and other accounting issues that may arise in legal matters.


Candidates for this position must have a JD and/or CPA and at least five years of practice, including practice in the subject area. In addition, this course will be taught on campus, so instructors must be local.


The course may be postponed until a later semester if fewer than six students are enrolled.
