What you'll do:
Working with one of our 21 Customer Service Offices (CSO), this position reports to the Field Supervisor and the CSO Manager, and is responsible for performing crop inspections on farms while working with customers.Perform crop inspections, predation claims, wildlife claims, and third party liability claims on farms.Contact customers to schedule field inspections.Prepare in advance to ensure all required materials are ready for field inspections.Inspect customer property for claims information.Perform fieldwork while dealing with dissatisfied customers or problem situations.Identify crop damage and disease and the causes associated with both.Measure bins and acreages accurately, and record information.Gather data necessary to determine indemnities for programs administered by SCIC.Complete appropriate documentation in regards to customer claim information.Enter cla...
