Admissions Technician- Baltimore

Position: Admission Technician Location: Mountain Manor Baltimore; Baltimore, MD Status: Full Time Summary: The overall responsibility of the Admission Technician is to assist with the process of incoming admissions after they have been accepted by the Program Director, and to complete forms and clerical paperwork associated with admissions. Responsibilities: * Initiate the admission process for incoming patients and explain their roles and responsibilities while in treatment. * Maintains the admission and discharge logs. * Collects patient payments & maintains appropriate documentation/reports to collections. * Submits client schedules to billing office. * Responsible for contacting patient referral sources. * Provides secretarial support such as typing, filing, duplicating and distributing copies. * Provides direct assistance to the Program Director as necessary.
