We are seeking a newly admitted Attorney to join our growing litigation practice in Meyersdal, Alberton. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven candidate to develop their career in civil litigation, managing a diverse portfolio of matters under the guidance of the firm's director.

Responsibilties 

• Manage a civil litigation portfolio under the supervision of the firm's director


• Draft pleadings, notices, affidavits, legal opinions, correspondence, and settlement agreements


• Institute and defend proceedings in both the Magistrates' Courts and the High Court


• Attend court appearances, case management meetings, pre-trial conferences, and client consultations


• Prepare trial bundles, court files, and briefing notes for counsel


• Conduct legal research and produce written legal opinions as required
