About the Role
Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist position within the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Auckland City Hospital. Responsible for delivering advanced physiotherapy care to critically ill patients and supporting the broader critical care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced-level physiotherapy care and expertise in direct critical care delivery.
- Apply advanced physiotherapy clinical knowledge and skills in assessment and intervention, including early rehabilitation and evidence-based guidance.
- Lead quality improvement, staff, and service development with Advanced Clinician colleagues and the critical care educator.
- Evaluate service requirements and lead clinical research initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with critical care teams, providing clinical and operational support for a team of 5 physiotherapists.
