**Under AHN Prehospital Care Services, Canonsburg EMS provides emergency and non-emergency care across Washington County, PA: Canonsburg Borough, Chartiers Township, Donegal Township and Houston Borough**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

This job provides emergency medical care to the sick and injured patients in the prehospital and hospital environment; effectively communicates with all persons and departments involved in the administration of emergency medical care. Performs basic and advanced EMS skills which include interventions and administration of medications and vaccines with basic and advanced equipment found on an EMS vehicle or within an AEMT's scope of practice.
