SCOPE

The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading projects within Smith & Wesson to improve production efficiency, quality, cost, and safety through advanced manufacturing technologies, robotics, integration and process control. This role will lead the effort to research baseline data, create a project scope, present projects to integrators, evaluate project proposals, develop a project budget, submit budget for approval and implement project to completion. This position will need to communicate effectively and frequently with engineering, operations, IT, quality, outside integrators and other key stakeholders during any project to maintain alignment. The Advanced Manufacturing Team will use outside integrators to implement projects.
