Job Description Summary for Changed position now GU Medical Oncology:
Advanced Practice Provider to work ambulatory clinic Monday-Friday (no call, no weekends) from 8am-5pm. Will support patients on the GU Medical Oncology teams. Position based at the UVA Health Emily Couric Comprehensive Cancer Center and Pantops Cancer Center locations and will support 2 Medical Oncologists. Prior oncology, urology, chemotherapy, or advanced practice experience beneficial. OCN or AOCNP certification a plus.
Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
**Administration**
+ Participates within the organizational systems of the service, unit and institution, initiatives that promote and contribute to the development of the APP, RN and other colleagues.
