Advisor (Insurance Supervision)

Overview

Advisor – Insurance Supervision – Permanent role based in Wellington. The role is within the Deposit Taking and Insurance Supervision team supporting New Zealand’s financial system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex prudential supervision across large and small entities, or major projects.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess risk profiles and develop supervisory strategies.
• Engage with regulated entities at senior management, executive and board level.
• Provide technical oversight and coaching to analysts.
• Support the Manager with team workflow, oversight and delivery of supervisory priorities.
• Contribute to bank‑wide strategies and initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders.
