Advocacy Specialist for Green Industry

Lead national efforts in government relations with the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) in Milton, Ontario. Your focus will be on workforce development and environmental policy advocacy.
This role reports to the Executive Director and involves strategically advancing policy solutions while coordinating with provincial partners and stakeholders. You will ensure the voice of the green industry resonates in legislative discussions, emphasizing the essential nature of managed landscapes in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead federal advocacy for workforce development initiatives
• Advocate for labor program effectiveness, including TFWP
• Position managed landscapes in climate adaptation strategies
• Develop clear communication for regulatory changes
• Support media engagements to amplify industry value
