Opportunity Description
Responsibilities
- Handle and respond to all export-related enquiries
- Coordinate with shippers on collection arrangements and other export matters
- Work closely with sales teams and destination offices to obtain airfreight approvals and establish shipping rates
- Liaise with Finance for shipments involving Cash on Delivery (COD) or customers exceeding credit limits
- Coordinate with Vendor Management teams to arrange collections
- Work with the Airfreight Planner to secure flight schedules
- Liaise with the Import Team on re-export shipments
- Ensure timely and accurate application of export permits through coordination with the permits department
- Work with the warehouse team on cargo acceptance, release, packing, sorting, and storage needs
- Coordinate with external vendors for Dangerous Goods (DG) packing, crating, fumigation, and other specialized services
