Opportunity Description
The Aircraft Branch Manager provides senior-level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing executive airlift mission
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Leads and manages aircraft maintenance and integrated logistic support services on 22 commercial-derivative Special Air Mission (SAM) aircraft assigned to the 89th Airlift Wing that transport national and international leaders on a 24/7 basis.
+ Manages an annual budget in the excess of $7M.
+ Responsible for the training and certification of over 176 aircraft mechanics and electronic technicians supporting SAM and Transient Aircraft operations.
+ Also responsible for ensuring that all required tools, support equipment, personal protective equipment, and technical guidance are available and used by assigned branch personnel.
