Aircraft Mechanic - AME - VMG

+ The F-16A/B/C or D Aircraft Mechanic Egress (AME) Air force Aircrew Egress System Specialist Technical School graduate mechanic performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance and instruction to other employees as needed.
+ Maintains assigned aircraft in accordance with Navy, and Air Force manufacturer and company distributors.
+ Responsible for all egress system on and off equipment maintenance on F-16A/B/C or D models.
+ Removes, transports, inspects, repairs and reinstalls F-16A/B/C or D ejection seats.
+ Inspects, repairs and cleans seat harnesses.
+ Inventories, stores, removes and replaces seat CAD/PAD explosive items
+ Maintains environmental system on F-16A/B/C or D models.
