Summary This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1063000 and is part of the Oregon National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility 1, National Guard. Responsibilities As a AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG-8852-8/10/12, this position is located in the Logistics function of an ARNG Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF). The AASF provides Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM), Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM), and aviation maintenance training for supported units. The purpose of this position is to act as the Aircraft Mechanic (Crew Chief) with responsibility for managing the operational readiness of one or more aircraft, and proficiency training of supported aviation unit personnel.
