Airfield Safety Officer

Are you an operationally focused individual who thrives in a fast paced environment? Auckland Airport is looking for an Airfield Safety Officer (ASO) to ensure that the safety of aircraft operations is always maintained, including during Airfield works.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Monitoring aviation safety functions: Contribute to works planning and preparation, including establishing work site limitations, ensure that aircraft safety or movement is not compromised by any works airside, and ensure the necessary permits and paperwork have been completed
• Stakeholder engagement: Coordination and liaison with Airfield Operations, Air Traffic Control and Contractors regarding work areas and any restrictions
• Safety: Monitor and promote aviation safety and compliance across the airfield, reporting of incidents or non compliance in accordance with current AIAL processes
