AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT OPERATOR - FREIGHT FORWARDING

Location: Nantgarw, Wales – role will be based within a customer’s premises.

Contract type: 12‑month Fixed Term Contract, could become permanent.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.

We are currently working with a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation with an enviable reputation, seeking a qualified AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT OPERATOR.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an import/export airfreight file from start to finish.
• Execute courier files.
• Label cargo.
• Liaise with airlines and make reservations.
• Arrange collections and deliveries.
• Raise and produce all airfreight export documentation.
• Complete export customs entries.
• Raise invoices and bill out.
• Resolve any customer service issues that may arise throughout the shipment.
