Opportunity Description
Job responsibilities: Provide IBM AIX Operating System Support. Install & Upgrade AIX and related software, AIX software configurations, install and maintenance PTF/APAR management. Plan, Prepare & Execute complex Data migrations of same & different versions. Implement of TCPIP application, protocols and services, Virtual IPs/Virtual Ethernets. Backup and Recovery management. Trouble shooting AIX Operating system problems, Database, Files systems, Security, Network and other software problems. AIX Security Management. Strong problem and change Management process knowledge Hands-on experience with VIOS/PowerVM, PowerHA and Power SC Linux operation systems knowledge is required Experience with IBM storage systems – IBM DS8K, IBM Storwise will be a plus Experience with other IBM Middleware and Analytics products will be a plus ...
