He angitūtanga: The opportunity

You will be working at the frontline in reducing alcohol-related harm in the community by ensuring compliance. This role involves reporting on applications made by people or businesses seeking to enter or remain in the hospitality industry, visiting premises to both educate licensees and managers, carrying out inspections (includes some night monitoring) gathering evidence, and preparing reports and taking enforcement steps to compel compliance as and when necessary.

You will carry out the monitoring of licensed premises and events to ensure that they are compliant with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and be involved with the court hearing process if a case is escalated. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders including the poli...
