Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and act as a role model for Allied Health Department employees.
- Support in the development of any Allied Health Services departmental annual business plan.
- Be involved in developing and implementing cost improvement schemes through service redesign, cash allocation and income generation schemes, and ensure that service delivery is managed within financial and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and promote a business plan with other stakeholders that improves patient outcomes - including responsibility for the development of Allied Health management policies, protocols, initiatives & guidance and implementation of regulatory requirements. Monitor response to identified issues and facilitate resolution through the relevant organisations as required.
